Product performance:

1. The appearance is a white powder, odorless and tasteless, soluble in water and most polar organic solvents (such as dichloroethylamine) and appropriate proportions of ethanol/water, propanol/water, etc. Aqueous solutions have surface activity, high transparency, and stable performance.

2. HPMC has the property of thermal gel. The product aqueous solution forms gel after heating, and then dissolves after cooling. The gel temperature of products of different specifications is different. The solubility changes with viscosity, and the lower the viscosity, the greater the solubility. Different specifications of HPMC have certain differences in their properties, and the solubility of HPMC in water is not affected by pH value.

3. Particle size: The pass rate of 100 mesh is greater than 100%. Pile density: 0.25-0.07g/(usually around 0.5g/), specific gravity 1.26-1.31. Color change temperature: 190-200 ℃, carbonization temperature: 280-300 ℃, surface tension: 42-56dyn/cm in 2% aqueous solution. With the increase of methoxy group content, the gel point of HPMC decreased, the water solubility increased, and the surface activity also increased. HPMC has the characteristics of thickening, salt rejection, low ash content, pH stability, water retention, dimensional stability, excellent film-forming ability, as well as extensive enzyme resistance, dispersibility, and adhesion.
